About Voytara

Voytara is an independent informational platform that explains how the transportation system connects destinations across Colombia. We describe routes, terminals, airports and intermunicipal connections, and turn that system into clear, structured guidance so travelers can plan their movements with confidence.

Our editorial principle is simple: explain the system, not the destination. Voytara does not tell you where to go or what to see. It explains how to get there, how the connections work, what each leg costs and how long it really takes.

Who runs Voytara

Voytara is written and edited by Alexander González, based in Anserma, in the Coffee Region of Caldas. The platform grows out of direct, first-hand experience living in and traveling across Colombia: riding the intermunicipal buses, crossing the terminals, taking the airport transfers and the coastal shuttles that this site documents. That on-the-ground perspective is what lets Voytara describe how the transport network actually behaves, not just how it looks on a map.

Every route guide is grounded in a pre-verified bank of local facts (terminals, operators, corridors, seasonal conditions) and checked against official and observed sources before publishing. Where a figure cannot be verified, it is left out rather than invented.

What Voytara is

  • An informational guide to transportation routes and connections in Colombia.
  • A clear explanation of how cities, airports and towns link together, and the steps each route requires.
  • A neutral reference that presents options with real cost and time ranges, so travelers can decide for themselves.

What Voytara is not

  • Not a travel agency, transport operator, or ticket seller.
  • Not a tour organizer or a promoter of tourism services.
  • Not a place that recommends one specific company as “the best”. We describe how to compare operators at the terminal and choose for yourself.

Editorial independence

Voytara does not operate transportation services and does not sell tickets. Prices and travel times are reference estimates based on publicly available information and first-hand observation, and they can change with traffic, operator, season or other conditions. We do not accept payment to prioritize or promote any specific transportation service. When a route guide mentions operators, it does so as neutral information, never as a paid placement.

How we work

Each guide follows the same method: answer the traveler’s core question in the first lines, then explain the route, compare the real options with cost and time ranges, and add the on-the-ground details that a generic aggregator would miss. Our full method is described in the editorial guidelines.
